This morning we continued in our series on how to Rust-Proof our Relationships by Tony Redfern. This morning's message was "Rush Inhibitor: Invitation Initiates Reconciliation." The passage for the morning was Isaiah 55.1-8. We're called to invite others to begin the process of reconciliation by following a model that God has set for us; 1) God's invitation is appropriate (v.1a), 2) God's invitation is generous (v.1b), 3) God's invitation is gracious (v.1c), 4) God's invitation is irresistible (v.2a), 5) God's invitation is transformational (v.3a), 6) God's invitation is glorifying (vs.3b-5), 7) God's invitation speaks the truth in love (vs.6-8). This is our model of how we should approach others should we need to reconcile something with someone else.
